In what way are we superior
when all we know is to scratch
out the eyes of small cats and dogs
this whole concept is disturbed
to me His words are absurd
pointless for his herd
to whom they are written
put under light easily broken
silly to the whore and her ragged child
misleading for the king and his burning land
devastating for the lover and his coming bride
Lord, your words ain't worth shit
You created us, your very own children
designed us after your very own features
but you never understood us
because you do not understand yourself
this so called holy book of yours
is nothing more then a manifest of lies
but you do not lie to us, Lord
you lie only to yourself
this lesson of right and wrong
is written for the ideal human
the pure human with no flaws
but none like that exists
neither on earth nor in heaven
Lord, we are not what you wished to create
we are you, we are your children
so please rewrite this book of yours
and this time please don't run from yourself
look within, from where your children comes
